MEET LYNAE POLK
A Little About Me
Hi, I’m Lynae — a proud ’70s baby, born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, and a product of the Baltimore City Public School system. I’m the oldest of three girls in a large, close-knit family where love (and laughter) was always in abundance. Some of my favorite childhood memories are of our Sunday family dinners — those gatherings were everything.
Growing Up In Baltimore
My parents made sure education and activity were top priorities. Dance, modeling, track, cheerleading — if it involved movement or creativity, we were in! I went to what would now be considered a STEM high school, made lifelong friends, and learned early on how to juggle a busy schedule (even if I’m not using much “STEM” these days — lol).
After high school, I headed to Howard University in Washington, D.C., where I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, then went on to earn my law degree. I kicked off my career in the Washington metro area before eventually returning home to Baltimore.
Making A Difference and Finding Myself Again
I’ve always had a heart for public service — giving back is just in my DNA. Most of my career has been spent helping others and serving my community, something I’m incredibly proud of. But let’s be real: even meaningful work can wear you down. After years of pouring into others, I started feeling the weight of burnout and knew it was time to make a shift.
And yes — I’m also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and during football season, you’ll definitely catch me rocking purple and black and cheering on my Baltimore Ravens! 🏈

From Burnout to Boarding Passes
A few years ago, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and start my own travel business — all while working full time. The catch? I hadn’t touched social media in years.
At first, it was rough. I felt totally out of my element trying to figure out all the platforms, and honestly, I wanted to quit more than once. Then I discovered something that changed everything: attraction marketing — a genuine, no-pressure way to grow a business without chasing people down or feeling awkward online.
How The Journey Began
Fast forward three years, and I’m now confidently showing up online, having fun with it, and connecting with others who once felt just like I did. Today, I help midlife entrepreneurs find their voice, show up confidently on social media, and grow their businesses without losing themselves in the process.
And when I’m not coaching or creating, you’ll find me doing what I love most — traveling, dancing, vibing to good music, and cheering on my Ravens. 💜
